SEVENTH GENERATION

95. Esmer Wayne AHLSTROM was born on Dec 7 1923 in Flint, Mich.. He died on Jan 22 1966 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Esmer served during WWII in the Army Air Corps. He trained as a Pilot Cadet but was unable to complete the altitude tests because of blackouts. He then trained as a crew chief and completed several missions on board planes flying over the hump into China.
During the Korean War he was a crew chief on helecopters flying rescue missions picking up downed pilots behind enemy lines. He also served several tours of duty in Germany and Japan, retiring from the USAF on the 31st day of May 1963.

Esmer Wayne AHLSTROM and Lois (AHLSTROM) had the following children:
