Descendants of Jean De NOBLET

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FIRST GENERATION

1. Jean DE NOBLET was born in 1394. He died in 1448. Jean de Noblet is the first
of the Noblitt line that can be linked directly, generation by generation to the
present family starting with his birth in 1394.
However, there is a record of an earlier line but the direct link is as yet undiscovered.
A Jacques de Noblette who died in 1092 is the actual oldest identified forebearer of the
Noblitt family. He established the family estate at Chaisneys de Tersillac near Falaise
on lands granted by William, Duke of Normandy. Jacques de Noblette married Catherine
Framberge in 1068. Jacques and Catherine had one son Pierre de Noblette. Pierre de
Noblette born 1074, died 1156, married Robine Mirebel in 1115. Pierre and Robine had
one son Alexander de Noblette. Alexander de Noblette born 1128, married Marie Velippiere
in 1151.
Jean de Noblet is a direct descendant of Jacques de Noblette and was still living at the
original Chateau some 300 years after the royal grant of 1068.

FOOTNOTE:
All of the above is documented in a book researched by Loren Noblitt titled "Down the
Centuries with the Noblitts" however the link to our John Noblet born 1699 and married to
Ann Brereton born 1699 has not been documented to satisfy the purists on Wikilinks.com,
So, the info is included in my genealogy until we can locate Peter Noblet born 1671 and
ask him if his son was in fact our John Noblet as no records exist that links the two.
Loren Noblitt claims in his book that he paid researchers to travel to France and actually
read some ancient Church documents to verify the claim and they provided documentation but
no one else has seen the actual documents. So, Wikilinks maintains that if no paper document
exists then it is a false narrative and purely speculation.
If you want to skip the portion that is in question page down now
to the "THIRTEETN GENERATION 23. John NOBLET born in 1699".
