As interest in the Ukulele Group increased in the fall of 2016 the decision was made
to form the group officially as the Strummer Ukulele Band operating under the umbrella
of the Sun City Strummers. This happened in November of 2016. Many new beginners
joined the group and after a winter of practice, they were ready for their first gig.
Here are a couple of photos of that first public gig which was a Luau in June of 2017.
